Philippians 1:6 (NIV)

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

If you are like me, you probably have a project or a book or two that you started but did not finish. By the way, I also have movies or television series I started but gave up on. The wonderful thing about God is that the work God begins in us, drawing us closer and closer to who we were created, is never laid to waste. We will never be given up on and cast aside to a dark place in the closet. God’s faithful and gentle work with us will continue until we are completed, standing holy at the throne. Amen.
